about

My piano has been moved - should I let it settle before having it tuned?

Yes, but not very long, because the longer it stays out of tune, the worse the overall scenario. There would be no harm in tuning it immediately. Every situation is different. Ideally, you would tune it as soon as possible, and then again immediately it begins to fall noticeably out of tune.

The best indication of what an instrument needs at any time is how does it sound?, and how does it behave?
