Mr Chetwoode's first fantasia is also published by the Viola da Gamba Society (UK), and this is perhaps the most difficult of the four. The other three are each quite different in style but all are very appealing. These pieces certainly deserve to be more widely acknowledged as a standard part of the viol consort repertoire. The set of four is the complete known works of Mr Chetwoode.
The edition consists of score and separate sheets for the parts.
